The average firewood power efficiency using usual furnaces is about 70% but using modern furnaces – about 85%. Using Wood Briquettes in any kind of furnaces the power efficiency is above 90% (data from forestresearch.gov.uk). Due to higher density and the much lower humidity level (approx. 12% ± 2%) the power efficiency and heat capacity (calorific power) of the Wood Briquettes is higher than fire-wood . The less humidity the product contains, the higher heat capacity it has.

• One ton of Wood Briquettes with humidity level 10-12% contain approximately 80kg of water.
• One ton of fire-wood with humidity level 30-50% contains approximately 250kg of water.
